I’m genuinely sure you’re not being sarcastic, but it’s the CBC and all so I guess there’s a certain amount of default sarcasm (why that is, I don’t know…).
I think that newmusiccanada.com, along with all the CBCR3 sites, music-related or otherwise, are fantastic. I’m always streaming a rootsmusiccanada.com playlist when I’m on my computer and I most of my friends are on newmusiccanada.com non-stop. I’ve discovered so many great new artists via CBCR3 that I’ve lost count.
Ignoring my I’m-a-musician-and-I-need-to-eat bias, I’ve gotta say these are well-spent tax dollars (but that doesn’t mean they shouldn’t spend more!).
