Amazon A9.com Search Review

A9 Search

When Amazon’s A9 search service was released last month, I put together a quick A9 Firefox search plugin and tried it out as my default search for a week.

I’m back with Google as my default now and I’ve written my thoughts in a brief review of A9 at silverorange stuff.

  1. Thanks Ryan. I’m running Fedora Core on my ThinkPad T30. I’m getting used to the Gimp2, but I still need the text-handling quality and power of Photoshop. I’m trying to get it working on Wine/Crossover-Office, but in the meantime, I have Photoshop running on an old iMac we have for browser testing.

  2. You want a new and very useful search engine? Try dogpile.com – it uses google among others and offers some interesting choices in after-search.
