Backwoods Nation, by Pedro the Lion

I had the good fortune of seeing Pedro the Lion play while in San Francisco last month (I got one blurry photo). After a great set, they held the collective breath of the room with their encore, a B-side released on a label compilation:

  2. Pedro is great, and Control is a great album – some really intense lyrics. I wasn’t aware that he/they had a new album coming out.

  3. wow. That’s pretty direct, eh? Masterfully so, I think. He’s a great show live, though isn’t he? I love it how he always does a sort of q&a session, even though he appears to be rather uncomfortable as a public speaker. What a guy.
