What I think is amazing about this is that, for all the bells and whistles that Illustrator and Photoshop were adding back in the day, the thing that really sets these new design tools apart are snap-to-grid alignment, adjustable spacing, and repeatable symbols. Even Google Drawings has amazing snap-to-grid and snap-to-object alignment that’s more magical than any gradient-opacity-blur-mosaic filter.
