I’ve noticed that my lovely wife has an interesting process when composing email. She actually reads what she’s written before she sends it. It goes something like this:
- Write the email
- Proofread it
- Send it
This is in contrast to my technique:
- Write the email
- Send it
I wonder how my life would be different if I actually read my emails before I sent them.
Don’t be taking the fun out of it all, now!
It would be boring of course!
You’d be increasing the respect that you receive from the people who read your emails!

i never Proofread it.
but for me is okay.
Proofread it is boring.
But “Proofread it” first can help you getting away from any mistakes.
I noticed my emails starting to make more sense when I actually read what I replied to.
