  1. Receive new card in the mail
  2. Call to activate new card
  3. Decline up-sold insurance three times while “waiting for the activation to go through”
  4. Place both old and new cards on the table
  5. Pick up the new card and put it in the shredder

    Because, up til now, we thought we were the only people who did such things,

  2. I do such things do, but less elaborated. I just cut some weird pattern into my old cards with a pair of scissors.

  3. I’ve done things like that before, boy do I feel dumb when I do them! Take solace in the knowledge that you are not alone!
